BROUSSARD - Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 2, 1998, at a Mass of Christian Burial in Sacred Heart Catholic Church for Mrs. Michael W. Comeaux, 38, who died at 11 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 30, 1998, at M.D. Anderson Hospital in Houston.

The Rev. Monsignor Michael, pastor, will celebrate the Mass.

Entombment will take place in the Sacred Heart Mausoleum.

Mrs. Comeaux, the former Sandra Theresa Boutte, was a native of New Iberia and resided in Broussard since her marriage in 1984. She was the daughter of C.P. Boutte and the former Leona Mae Bourque.

A graduate of Comeaux High School, Sandra was a self-employed cosmetologist. She was active with the Lafayette Leukemia Support Group and worked with the Look Good - Feel Good Support Group.

Sandra loved to sing and was a cantor with the Sacred Heart Church. She was always volunteering to serve others.

Survivors include her husband, Michael Wayne Comeaux of Broussard; one son, Wayne Christopher Comeaux of Broussard; her father and step-mother, C.P. and Lou Boutte of Broussard; her mother and step-father, Leona Mae and Max B. Slade of Boise, Idaho; six brothers, Michael A. Boutte of Erath, Lonnie J. Boutte of Fairbanks, Alaska, Randall Boutte and his wife, Becky, Donald C. Boutte and his wife, Phoebe, and Patrick E. Boutte, all of Lafayette, and Jeffery T. Boutte of Boise; one sister, Patricia A. Boutte of Denham Springs; a step-sister, Melinda Hollier of Church Point; a step-brother, Carl Hollier, of Church Point; and her god mother, Lillian Boudreaux of New Iberia.

Pallbearers will be: Donald Boutte, Patrick Boutte, Randal Boutte, Dennis Comeaux, Karl Comeaux and Patrick Comeaux.

The family requests that any donations in her member be made to the Leukemia Society of America, 3636 South I-10 Service Road, Suite 304, Metairie, La., 70001.

A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. today (9/1/98) in the funeral home.

Visiting hours are to be observed from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. today (9/1/98) and from 8 a.m. Wednesday (9/2/98) until time of the services.

The funeral is under the direction of Delhomme Funeral Home of Broussard.
